FLASH FICTION CONTEST

It is our pleasure to announce the winner and runner-ups in Literary Database's Flash Fiction Contest:

Rosa del Duca won with her entry The Day My Mother Disappeared.

This was an evocative piece that told a complete story of a marriage. Here's a sentence:

"It's one of those days where he trudges home pulling at his tie, wondering if my mother remembered to pick up more limes for his gin."

Nate Liederbach (Accident) and Allison Floyd (The Scar) were runner-ups.

Congratulations! These stories were chosen from 130 entries. The decision was not an easy one, as there were many fantastic flash fiction pieces.
